Beginning after Labor Day, our weekday Mass schedule will change

Mass will be offered Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 7:00 am as usual; however, Mass on Thursdays will be offered at 9:30 am.

Why the change? Two reasons...

Having Mass at 9:30 am once a week will allow classes of students from Our Lady of the Valley School to participate in Mass weekly, instead of monthly. More regular participation at Mass can assist our students in learning to quiet the mind, to better engage in prayer, and to encounter Jesus who is really, truly, and substantially present in the Eucharist. In addition, some parishioners from Good Shepherd Parish who have come to Saint Mary Parish have asked if it is possible to have at least one Mass during the week at a later hour than 7:00 am. Having one weekday Mass later in the morning, on Thursdays at 9:30 am, will allow other parishioners to participate in Mass during the week.
